Dr. Adis Martinović was born in Bijelo Polje, where he finished primary school. He completed medical school in Podgorica, and graduated from the Medical Faculty in Kragujevac in 2007. He started his career as a doctor in the emergency medical care in Bar, where he worked in the period from 2008 to 2009. He completed his specialisation in the field of epidemiology at the Medical Faculty in Belgrade in 2013. After that, he took employment in the Hygienic and Epidemiological Service of the Health Centre in Bar, where he worked until September 2020, when he joined the Moj Lab Polyclinic team. During his work so far, he was engaged as a doctor in several football clubs and youth categories of the national football team, as a first aid educator at the Red Cross, as an advisor at the HIV and AIDS Counselling Centre at the Health Centre in Bar. He is currently in his final year of doctoral academic studies. At the Moj Lab Polyclinic, Dr. Martinović deals with epidemiological activities: mandatory health examinations of certain categories of employees – sanitary examinations, detection of infectious diseases and germs, their registration and reporting to the Institute of Public Health and health centres’ HES services, advising COVID-19 positive persons and their contacts and passengers in international traffic and informing and advising on immunisation against COVID-19 and other vaccine-preventable diseases.
