Our specialist in general and bariatric surgery, Dr. Zoran Ražnatović, participated in two significant professional events last weekend, reaffirming his commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge exchange with colleagues from the region and worldwide.

At the 16th Conference of the Serbian Medical Diaspora, within the bariatric session dedicated to academician Dragan Micić, Dr. Ražnatović delivered a lecture on complications in bariatric surgery, with a special focus on modern approaches to their prevention and treatment.

Subsequently, from June 18 to 20, 2026, he actively participated in the 17th Symposium of the Association of Surgeons of Republika Srpska and Serbia with international participation, held in Foča. On that occasion, he delivered a lecture on: OAGB (One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass).

This is one of the most modern minimally invasive bariatric-metabolic procedures for treating obesity and associated metabolic disorders. Through his lecture, Dr. Ražnatović shared experiences and results achieved by applying this method in daily surgical practice.
